WHAT IS THE NATIONAL SOCIAL MEDIA AWARDS?
The National Social Media Awards founded in 2019 with a deep-seated purpose to recognise and celebrate the extraordinary individuals and organisations that have successfully harnessed the immense power of social media to drive positive change, cultivate meaningful connections, and lead toward innovation. We are profoundly grateful for all the support along the way from our partners and attendees and aspire to inspire others to join us in using social media as a platform to generate positive change across the world. Being the first globally, fully voted for social media awards we are leading the way for influencers across social media to finally be recognised for the efforts and hard work.
HOW DOES THE
NATIONAL SOCIAL MEDIA AWARDS WORK?
At the beginning of the year the NSMA places a nominations link in its Instagram bio. You can then nominate whoever you want, within whichever category you choose. The top 6 profile mentioned get shortlisted and placed into voting. The winner is then announced at the next awards. It is up to the influencer nominated to get their votes.
WHAT IS OUR GOAL?
Our goal is simple. We want everyone to be included and feel that they can express themselves in an environment of no judgement. We all experience the journey of life differently from one another and therefore can learn a lot from each others, religions, cultures, and backgrounds. The NSMA brings everyone together and on the night of the NSMA we are all one with each other and have a common reason for attending. Whether you win or not we are all happy for each others achievements. We at the NSMA know we cannot change the world and its troubles on our own. However, we do know that we all have a platforms that we can use in a positive way to create change. The smallest action can have the biggest impact and lasting change.

We do our best each year to make the NSMA bigger and better from its previous year. We try our absolute best to be as inclusive as possible to everyone. We realise that our capacities of the event sometimes cannot facilitate everyone, but if we have the space you are welcomed. If you are interested in attending please do reach out to us. The NSMA is hosted in London and Los Angeles every year currently! Each year we look at other locations that we can also operate the NSMA and now we will be hosted in:

The NSMA is the biggest Social Media Awards in the world and the only awards of its kind that is multinational. It is very important to us that we always look for the opportunity to branch out into other countries. Each year we work with amazing brand partners which allow us to grow and expand. We are very privileged to work with our partners and we will always want to take them with us.
