HOW TO BE NOMINATED?

Getting nominated at the next national social media awards!

Getting nominated is easier than you think! All you have to do is keep an eye out on our Instagram page @officialnsma where you will see a link to our nominations. You can alternatively email us as well.

HOW DO THE NOMINATIONS WORK?

Every year we have thousands of Influencers wanting to take part in the NSMA and each of its categories. We have on average 20 categories and 6 nominees within each one. On our Instagram bio you will find a Linktr link that will direct you to our nominations link when active at the beginning of each year. From there you will be able to register with us and also nominate either yourself, or whoever you would like within some or all of our categories. Six months before the date of the awards we will begin shortlisting the top 6 names mentioned within each category to go through to our voting stage. 3 months before the awards we will announce all our finalists and you will be able to begin voting.

How will i know if i have been nominated?

If you have been nominated we will reach out to you by email, and on Instagram to make you aware. If we cannot get hold of you we will still announce your nomination. You will then see a notification that you have been tagged in a post and that people are tagging you in the comments.

WHAT HAPPENS ONCE NOMINATED?

Once you have been nominated and notified we will then go and create a nominations flyer that we will post on our socials. This will include a picture of you, your social media tags, and the category you have been nominated in. Once this has been posted it will then be down to you to push it out as far as you can to get as many votes as possible. We will also have a voting link that will be in our Linktr link on our socials where people can also vote for you. Whilst you are pushing out your nomination it is important to remember that the brand presenting in your category has made your category possible and therefore we encourage you to tag them in all your posts where possible.

IS THERE A MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY TO BE NOMINATED?

No! Anyone can nominate anyone. We are inclusive of everyone regardless of how prominent you are on social media. The National Social Media Awards is about you the public being given the voice to vote for whoever you want.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF I HAVE WON?

We invite every nominee to the awards just in case they win. You will be given one ticket to attend and depending on the capacity of the venue will depend on whether we have extra tickets to give to you for friends and family. We will know a few days before the awards who has won. However, we will not tell anyone prior to the awards and you will have to attend to see if you have won.

Upon attending the NSMA we will sign you in so we know on the night who is attending. If you have won and do not attend and have not communicated with us, you will forfeit the win to 2nd place. If you win but communicate with us that you cannot attend we will honor the win.
